Used for
Drawing water from a borehole or deep well, where the pump sits submerged and pushes to the surface rather than drawing by suction. Two details in the specification decide service life in that duty: the dry-running protection with level relay electrodes stops the unit if the water level drops below the inlet, which is the usual way a borehole pump is destroyed, and the stator winding is hermetically sealed in stainless steel against the water it runs in. Because the bearings are water lubricated there is no oil to change or to contaminate the supply. Output fills a Water Tank Collapsible or a Water Tank (bladder), is metered through a Multi or Single Jet Water Meter, and the rising main is protected by a Cast Iron Check Valve. Where there is no power supply, the Open Top Hand Pump covers the same abstraction by hand.

Supplied in institutional quantities against a purchase order, complete with motor cable.
